BlockPulse
Minecraft, observed.
A platform for observing the Minecraft server ecosystem through discovery, monitoring, state history, and server intelligence.
01 / OVERVIEW
Context
BlockPulse is not another Minecraft server. It is a data and intelligence project built around the broader server ecosystem: collecting observations, preserving change history, and turning that record into a useful product.
Instead of competing for hype and player retention, I am interested in measuring the system and building tools for understanding availability, metadata, and how servers evolve over time.
02 / SCOPE
My role
- Shaping the product concept
- Designing the observation and historical-data model
- Researching discovery, monitoring, and owner-facing analytics
03 / PROBLEM
Not another server
Running a server depends heavily on media reach, advertising, game economy, and a constant content pipeline. BlockPulse moves up a level: infrastructure for observing thousands of independent systems.
04 / DIRECTIONS
Product directions
- Discovery and server metadata
- Monitoring and availability history
- Historical state data
- Player-facing discovery
- Owner-facing analytics
- Server ecosystem analytics
05 / THINKING
Architecture focus
The architecture centers on the observation lifecycle: discover a server, capture state, normalize data, preserve a timeline, and expose it to product use cases. The concrete stack is intentionally not claimed yet.
STATUS / NOW
Current status
- The project is currently in research while its product boundaries and directions are being refined.
- No completed features or quantitative claims are presented before they are implemented.
